Green Duet

My favorite recipes contain fewer than 8 ingredients. This dish is simple and sweet. The light cabbage offsets the dark leafed kale beautifully. A great way to get your greens!

1 medium onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 head of Nappa cabbage
1 bunch of Lacinto kale
1/2 cup water
Seasonings to taste

Heat olive oil in an 11" skillet on medium. Add onion and garlic, and cook until translucent. Add cabbage, kale and seasonings to taste. Saute for 3 minutes. Add water, cover and cook for 5-10 minutes, depending on how much you like your veggies cooked. Remove from heat and let sit five minutes. Serves 2 or 3.
