Reiki (‘ray key’) is a Japanese phrase meaning universal life energy. It is a healing system that uses the subtle energies within the body to support physical, emotional, mental and spiritual balance.

With discipline and adherence to the 5 precepts, Reiki healing and meditation can be life changing. Reiki healing has no dogma or faith-based tenets, freeing the therapy to be used in hospitals, churches, temples, hospices, everywhere to relieve the suffering of those of any belief, race or culture.

As a practitioner, Reiki provides many health-related benefits. It can help to cope with daily stress or emotional balance, and allows the release of excess/pent up energy that may interfere with your body’s natural energy flow. Use of Reiki will change your life in new and positive ways.

REIKI 1

The overall emphasis of this class is on understanding Reiki, self-treatment, self-care, and physical well-being.  The goal is to develop confidence using Reiki, establishing a regular self-practice, and utilizing energy for yourself and others at a deeper mental and emotional level where negative thoughts and patterns, addictions, phobias, past traumas, and fears lie. We will cover Reiki concepts, meditations, and do lots of hands-on practice. You will experience and gain knowledge of:

• Reiki precepts for daily living

• History of Reiki

• Practical uses of energy

• How to do Reiki self-treatments

• Meditations for centering and trusting intuition

• Establishing Reiki as a regular wellness practice

The hallmark of the Level 1 class is knowledge and an interactive approach to instill a high level of confidence and foster a deeper commitment to the practice. Students are empowered and prepared to begin using Reiki immediately.

Q. Is this a one day class?

A: Yes.

Q: I already completed Level 1 class and certification but need a brush up. Can I take this class?

A: Yes, if you were already certified in Level 1 by Aqiylah, contact her directly so she can help you audit the class. If you were certified by someone else, you would need to enroll.

ENROLLMENT INCLUDES

• In-class, hands-on practice of Reiki self-treatments

• A Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Practitioner (Level I) certificate*
